J.K.A. Siam Camp
Karate Shotokan Seminar in 2016
The Siam Camp is an International Shotokan Karate training camp which was started in the year 2000 by the friendship of 3 Karate Sensei: Omura Sensei, Naka Sensei and Sugimura Sensei.
Now it became the traditional karate camp in Thailand every forthcoming new year.
This event is organized by the Thai-Japan Shotokan Karate Association in Thailand (JKA Thailand) and involves a 3 days training in Traditional Shotokan Karate directly from high ranked Shihan from the Japan Karate Association.
It’s so great to see different ages getting engaged in the same training with the same passion.
Without any doubt, the sound of a KIAI from a gymnasium full of Karateka is certainly something you don’t want to miss if you are a traditional martial artist.
The instructors:
- Shihan Kouichi Sukimura 8 dan (Chief Instructor of J.K.A. Switzerland)
- Shihan Fujikiyo Omura 7 dan (Chief Instructor of J.K.A. Thailand)
- Shihan Tatsuya Naka 6 dan (Instructor of J.K.A. Headquarter)

You can find more info about the JKA Thailand and the next Siam Camp on the JKA Thailand website.
Special thanks to J.K.A. Thailand for allowing us to film and document this wonderful event.
